ORGANIZATION

The Concord Republican City Committee (the “City Committee”) is governed by its active dues-paying local members and a board of local officers.  The local officers include the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and such other local officers as the City Committee may see fit to designate, including Ward Chairpersons.  The City Committee re-organizes itself every two years and the officers serve two-year terms.  The local officers operate with the cooperation and support of the thirteen voting members of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee (the “State Committee”) from Concord.  The thirteen voting members are elected by a caucus of the party nominees for office and the delegates to the Republican State Convention from Concord, following every biennial election.

The Chairperson represents the City Committee on the Executive Board of the State Committee and serves as an interface between the State and City Committees.  The voting members of the State Committee from Concord attend the State Committee’s annual meetings and conduct state party business, such as electing state officers.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the City Committee is open to registered Republican voters residing in the City of Concord. As of 2008, dues are $10 per year.  The City Committee has the discretion to approve special membership statuses on a case-by-case basis for students, part-year residents and other special situations where it is in the best interest of the City Committee to do so.
